Woman Found Stabbed to Death After Being Followed into her Manhattan Apartment, Suspect Charged with Murder

A 35-year-old woman, Christina Yuna Lee, was found brutally murdered inside her Chinatown apartment on Sunday after chilling surveillance footage showed her being followed into her building by the assailant, a 25-year-old man named Assamad Nash. Lee was stabbed more than 40 times. Neighbors in her building heard her cries for help and called 911. By the time paramedics arrived, it was too late, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four Suspects Identified in Triple Homicide Cold Case from 1972

On February 3, 1972, the bodies of 51-year-old Bryce Durham; his wife, Virginia, 44; and their 18-year-old son Bobby were discovered strangled to death in their home in Boone, North Carolina. Virginia Durham had been strangled, while Bryce and Bobby Durham had been strangled and then drowned. The case went cold for 50 years until this week, when authorities identified the four perpetrators of the crime: Billy Sunday Birt, Bobby Gene Gaddis, Charles David Reed, and Billy Wayne Davis.

Two of the Three Inmates that Escaped a Tennessee Jail Through an Air Vent are Dead, One is Still at Large.

Three inmates at the Sullivan County Jail in Tennessee pulled off a daring escape on Friday morning. Tobias Wayne Carr, 38; Timothy Allen Sarver, 45; and Johnny Shane Brown, 45, managed to access the air vent system on the ceiling of their cell and escape through the vent on the jail’s roof. Carr and Sarver are now deceased, and Brown is still on the run.

Suspects Sought in Anti-Semitic Attacks in Brooklyn

Police are searching for suspects in at least two separate attacks that took place in Brooklyn this past weekend. Surveillance video from Friday shows someone approaching a 24-year-old man dressed in traditional Hasidic clothing and punching him in the back of the head. Minutes before that attack, another man dressed in Hasidic clothing was punched in the face just around the corner from the Stockton Street attack. The NYPD has not specified if these two attacks were committed by the same person.
