Chicago Teen Killed In Targeted Shooting

15-year-old, Michael Brown, was shot and killed while walking home from school on Tuesday afternoon in what was believed to be a “targeted shooting.”

In a report by People, Brown was shot at least 10 times with two bullets entering his head. He was quickly rushed to the hospital where he died from his wounds shortly after.

Police were quickly able to identify the suspects as a 15-year-old, and 16-year-old, Anthony Brown. Brown was wearing an electronic monitor at the time of the shooting, which tracked his every move via GPS. Brown reportedly hijacked a SUV, then drove it to where the shooting occurred.

Brown is being charged as an adult with first-degree murder and aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm. He is set to appear in court on March 2. The other suspect, 15, is being charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
