9 Year-Old Girl Charged After Beating Her 4-Year-Old Brother to Death

A 9 year-old girl is currently facing criminal charges after beating her 4 year-old brother to death with a broom stick on Feb. 3 in Mobile, Alabama.

Yolanda Coale, aunt and legal guardian of the children, reported to police that she heard the children screaming early Thursday morning. She then saw the the boy’s sister beating him with a broomstick.

When officers arrives, the boy was found unresponsive.

The young girl was charged with assault and later Coale was charged with aggravated child abuse after medical examiners indicated that the boy’s body had injuries from previous abuse, according to ABC News.
