Aurora and Angelina met when Aurora was new to Montreal and knew the best way to deal with transitions in life is a fresh hairdo, so she searched out stylists in the city and wound up sitting in Angelina’s chair. Fast friends, the two quickly realized they shared an interest in murder.
Noting that they had met all the best people through true crime communities, Angelina and Aurora got to daydreaming about creating their own community — one that is comprehensive and respectful, without any of the gross stuff that lurks in the darkest corners of the community at large.
The two agree that the worst parts of true crime are the bits that glorify serial killers, and sensationalize real stories about real people, and imagined a safe space away from all the trash.
