11 Injured After Albuquerque Stabbing Spree

Tobias Gutierrez, 46, has been arrested on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon on Sunday night after reportedly stabbing numerous people while riding his BMX bike through the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico over the weekend.

The first stabbing report came into authorities Sunday morning around 11:15 a.m. and continued on over the next couple of hours. The 11 victims were transported to four different surrounding hospitals, with some in stable condition and others in critical condition. Most of the stabbings occurred along Central Ave.

The stabbings seem to have been committed at random, according to ABC News.

According to court records, Gutierrez has been previously arrested for burglary, drug possession, and intoxicated driving.
