The Associated Press reports Anurag Chandra, 45, was convicted of three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in the 2020 deaths of Drake Ruiz, Daniel Hawkins, and Jacob Ivascu, all 16, in Temescal Valley. The California man killed the three teens by ramming their car off the road after they played a doorbell prank on him. Three other teens were infrared in the crash.
According to People, the search for a missing two-year-old Taylen Mosley has been called off by St. Petersburg police after he was found dead inside an alligator mouth. An Amber Alert was issued for the toddler on Wednesday and the search involved the state, federal, and county authorities.
The Denver Post reports Reginald Maclaren, 81, was accused of murdering his wife and daughter with an ax. Police say he stuffed their bodies into individual trash cans in their Englewood, Colo., living room and dismembered the victims with a saw. Maclaren has been charged with first-degree murder.
Veronica Youngblood, 37, was convicted last week of killing her two daughters, Sharon Castro, 15, and Brooklyn Youngblood, 5. The Virginia woman fatally shot the young girls in their McLean home on Aug. 5, 2018.
According to People, Alex Murdaugh was sentenced Friday morning to two life sentences in prison. The sentences will run consecutively. The conviction followed the day after Murdaugh was found guilty of the murders of his wife, Maggie, 52, and son, Paul, 22.
