Orlando Family Found Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide

A family of five was found dead Tuesday afternoon in Orlando, Florida after a suspected murder-suicide.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 1 p.m. for a welfare check at the family’s home on Lake District Lane. Upon entering the home, police found the bodies of three adults and two children.

According to neighbors, the family recently moved to Orlando from out of the state. Some neighbors noted how the home seemed “unusually quiet” for days leading up to the discovery.

Neighbor Heather Collins and her fiancé Justin Rossilini live across from the family. He told police he hadn’t seen anyone in the family for at least 5-6 days when they checked the mail. Rossilini told Fox35 that two parents lived in the home, their adult son and two elementary-school-aged girls.

Members of the surrounding community were visibly shaken, as were the crime scene investigators. The names of the deceased have not been released, awaiting the notification of next of kin.
