We're back with updates on the case of Derek "Ritzy" Ritz, which we first discussed on the show in October of 2021. Ritzy has been missing for over six years, yet the local police department isn't giving his case any attention. Ritzy deserves justice, and in order to get it, his case demands more attention from the police, and more witness testimony.
The City of Milwaukee and local officials held a press conference on Tuesday after 17 people in the county died from an overdose since Saturday. An increase in nonfatal overdose incidents also occurred. This translates to one overdose death every four hours when normally the county experiences one every 16 hours.
According to People, a California police union executive, Joanne Marian Segovia, is being charged with attempts to unlawfully import valeryl fentanyl. Segovia is accused of using both her personal and work computers to order opioids and other pills between October 2015 and January 2023.
On July 24, 2022, the New York Police Department responded to a call about an unresponsive woman in her Manhattan apartment. Eight months later, the victim has been identified as fashion designer Kathryn Marie Gallagher. According to NBC New York, her cause of death was acute intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl, p-fluoro fentanyl, and ethanol. Gallagher was 35.

CBS News claims that a 14 year old boy, nicknamed “El Chapito,” has been arrested for the drug related killing of 8 people near Mexico City.
