Ex-Boyfriend of Alexis Gabe Shot During Pursual by Police
Last week, the ex-boyfriend of Alexis Gabe, an Oakley California woman who has been missing for six months, was shot and killed by police while charging with a knife during their attempt to arrest him. Additionally, on that day, the Contra Costa County District Attorney announced that they believe Gabe to be dead and now it is a search for her dead body, which is still missing.
Alexis Gabe (24) first went missing on January 26, and since then the public and police alike have been searching for the young nurse feverishly. Jones (27) was her boyfriend of three years until the couple broke up in November 2021, but according to KTVU parents and family, friends have stated that the two were very much in love and it is a surprise that he could have done something to her.
The officials involved have named Jones as their primary suspect and believe that he killed Gabe in his home in California before moving to Washington just days after she was announced missing. According to SKPop, his culpability comes from a multitude of factors pointing to his involvement. Days after announcing her disappearance, Gabe’s car was found near his house with the key in the ignition, along with her cellphone and his DNA within the phone’s case found outside his home. Additionally, to that, there is more digital evidence in phone calls, surveillance images, and more.
Police are still offering a $100,000 reward for any information to help find her body, and if anyone does have such information as to Gabe’s whereabouts you can call 925-625-7009 or email Alexistips@ci.oakley.ca.us.
