Two Killed, Five Injured in Shooting in Los Angeles County Park

Just before 4 p.m. on Sunday gunshots were heard at Peck Park in San Pedro, a neighborhood located in Los Angeles, California. The shooting reportedly broke out near the baseball field, claiming the lives of two people and injuring five others.

According to CBS Los Angeles, this shooting was a result of a dispute between former gang members. There is said to be more than one shooter. 

At the same time of the shooting, an impromptu car show was taking place at the public park which was said to have drawn as much as 500 people. 

Four of the injured victims are currently in critical condition. No arrests have been made, but police are looking for a white Mercedes-Benz that might’ve been involved in the incident.
