Three Shot at Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas
On Thursday night, around 8:30PM local time in Las Vegas, police were dispatched to a shooting incident at a Mirage Hotel and Casino room. They found one man dead and two women non-fatally injured, reports CNN. The surviving victims were rushed to the hospital.
Police believe the shooter and the three victims knew each other, states CBS News. Though the suspect hasn’t been apprehended, “security video and good leads” should lead to his capture, and Police Lt. Dori Koren stated there was no further threat to the public. Hotel security and police allowed guests back into the Mirage as early as 10:50PM.
A motive is not currently known, though police believe the suspect “shot the three victims during an altercation” before fleeing the room, reports CNN.
