South Carolina Man Fatally Shoots Wife, Stepdaughter and then Himself

On Jan. 29, 2023, William Busick, 55, killed his wife Chastity Busick, 48, and her 23-year-old daughter Jasmine Bailey. According to People, after fatally shooting his wife and stepdaughter, Busick later turned the gun on himself. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. and in front of a child, who authorities stated was unharmed. 

According to True Crime Daily, Busick was taken to a local hospital for a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was later pronounced dead. 

The incident is still being investigated and there is no ongoing threat to the public, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office.
