Oregon Man Accused of Torturing Woman Is Using Dating Apps to Find Victims

A nationwide manhunt is underway for an Oregon man accused of brutally assaulting and kidnapping a woman he was in a prior relationship with, according to People.

Authorities believe that the suspect, Benjamin Foster, is still actively using dating apps to find people to help him evade capture, along with finding new potential victims. 

CNN claims that the search for Foster began after police found a woman bound and severely beaten into unconsciousness. Foster fled the scene before officers arrived, and it is believed he had help in fleeing.

Foster allegedly tried to kill the victim while intentionally torturing her and keeping her in a confined location where she likely wouldn’t be found, and she was allegedly held captive for a protracted period of time. 

Authorities have stated that Foster is on the run and is armed and should be considered extremely dangerous.
