Mexican Actor Pablo Lyle Sentenced to Five Years in Prison for Road Rage Death
Telenovela star Pablo Lyle, 36, has been sentenced to five years in prison for issuing a deadly punch during a road rage confrontation in Miami back in 2019. Lyle was facing a maximum of up to 15 years in prison for the death of 63 year old Juan Ricardo Hernandez, according to Fox News.
Hernandez, the victim, suffered a traumatic brian injury and died four days later while hospitalized after the road rage incident.
The road rage altercation was captured by security cameras, according to abc news; allegedly, Lyle’s brother in law was taking the actor, his wife and two kids to the airport, where their car passed Hernandez’s car, who stopped at a red light, got out and approached the driver side window of Lyle’s car to claim that they blocked his way.
Security footage shows that Lyle and Hernandez got into an argument and Lyle punched Hernandez in the face. Lyle claimed that he was defending himself and that his children were terrified and he was uncertain of whether Hernandez had a weapon. Security footage shows that Hernandez was unarmed.
