A Fifth-Grade Teacher Has Been Arrested After Admitting to Having a "kill list"
Angelica Carrasquillo-Torres, 25, a fifth-grade teacher at St. Stanislaus School in East Chicago, was arrested last Thursday after a student reported the teacher to school staffers the previous day.
Carrasquillo-Torres allegedly told the student that she had a list, and one student was at the bottom of the list.
Police said Carrasquillo-Torres was immediately escorted to the principal's office to discuss the incident, where the teacher allegedly told the principal she had said those things and she had a "kill list." Carrasquillo-Torres was told to leave the school and never return.
No charges have been announced as police continue their investigation.
Following the incident, the school announced that it would be holding virtual classes only, and counselors were made available for students and staff.
