CA Teacher Allegedly Hid Missing Teenager for Two Years

According to New York Post, Holga Castillo Olivares, a teacher in Sacramento, has been accused of hiding 17-year-old Michael Ramirez, her son's friend, for almost two years.

Michael Ramirez was last seen on May 18, 2020, when he left home after an argument. He was reported missing by his parents on June 9, 2020. When he returned to his family’s home on March 11, 2022, he said that he was staying at his friend’s house, whose mother is Olivares.

The teacher was taken into custody at the school after students were dismissed for the day. She will see the court today.
