Woman Charged with Murder Attacks Attorney at Competency Hearing

Taylor Schabusiness, 25, murdered and dismembered her 25 year old lover last February after choking him during drug fueled intercourse, Daily Mail claims.

According to People, during her recent competency court hearing, Schabusiness attacked her lawyer by lunging at him, and when officers tried to intervene, she tried to break free by scooting backwards and wrapping her legs around the officer.

The attack occurred during a decision that would determine if Schabusiness was fit to stand trial. Quinn Jolly, the attorney, was supposed to introduce a trestim only from an expert witness in court, but he told the judge that the witness had not yet completed his report.

Jolly then went on to ask the judge for two more weeks for the testimony to take place, and when the judge reluctantly agreed to postpone the trial, originally set for March 6, to May 15, Schabusiness attacked.
