Shooting at Coney Island Beach: 1 Killed and 4 Wounded, investigation continues
For the second time in a month, multiple people were shot at Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn, the summer destination of New York City.
The recent shooting occurred on Saturday night a little before midnight, NBC News reported.
Victims were taken to a hospital, and a 42-year-old man who was shot in the back was pronounced dead.
The four other victims — a 49-year-old woman who was shot in her right leg, a 34-year-old woman who was shot in her right foot, a 46-year-old man who was shot in his left leg, and an "unidentified adult male" who was shot in his left leg — were all stable, police said.
It was reported to CNN that authorities are looking for one individual, but police have not provided a description of the shooter.
