Massachusetts Murder-Suicide Victims Identified

31-year-old Kahosay Sharifi of Lynn, Massachusetts was identified yesterday as the perpetrator of Tuesday’s murder-suicide case. According to CBS Boston, Sharifi fatally shot her father, 66-year-old Mohamad (or Mohamed) Sharifi; her brother-in-law, 34-year-old Sanjar Halin; and her father-in-law, 56-year-old Abdul Halin. She was found dead in her car afterward, where it’s believed she shot herself.

Mohamad Sharifi and Sanjar Halin were killed around 3PM at Mohamad’s home on Rockaway Street, according to NBC News. Abdul Halin was killed in his car “less than a mile away.” Kahosay Sharifi’s body was located in a Stop & Shop parking lot.

No motive was released by law enforcement, though a fundraising page posted by Sharifi’s family stated that “abuse of all types takes a significant toll on individuals affected.” The relatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
