Missing 76 Year Old Pa. Woman Found Dead Along Trail After Going for A Walk Near Home
According to People, an arrest has been made in connection to the murder of Marcy Suzette Nellis, a missing Pennsylvania woman, who was found dead along a trail near her home last month.
On April 6, David Allen Bosley, 59, was arrested and charged with homicide, rape by forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault, kidnappings and abuse of a corpse. Bosley is a convicted sex offender.
Fox News claims that Nellis was reported missing on March 27, which led a multi-jurisdiction, 12 hour search that included over 100 trained first responders who found her body on a bike trail the next day.
An autopsy states that Nellis’ cause of death was asphyxiation due to manual strangulation, and she was sexually assaulted. Bosley was an “immediate person of interest,” after evidence that included a rape kit, linked him to the crime. During questioning, Bosley denied “touching that woman” and denied having “anything to do with the death of the victim.”
