According to the University of California’s student newspaper, The Daily Bruin, James Heaps, 66, the former OB-GYN at UCLA, has received an 11-year sentence after sexually abusing his patients. Heaps was a faculty member at the David Geffen School of Medicine and an OB-GYN at UCLA Health from 2014 to 2018.
According to People, an arrest has been made in connection to the murder of Marcy Suzette Nellis, a missing Pennsylvania woman, who was found dead along a trail near her home last month.
