14-Year-Old Falls To His Death At Icon Park In Orlando

Tyre Sampson, 14, fell to his death from the “Orlando Free-Fall” ride at Icon Park in Orlando, Florida on Thursday.

The teen was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Montrey Williams, a witness to the tragic incident said, “At first we thought it was a piece of the ride or whatever until we got a little closer, and it was a person laying on the ground."

Tyre felt uneasy before the ride started, according to his friend who was also on the ride. He said, “If I don’t make it down, please tell my mama and daddy I love them.”

Yarnell Sampson, Tyre’s father, said that his son was turned away from all other rides due to his stature, but for some reason, was allowed on this ride. Tyre stands at 6’5'“ and weighs 340lbs.

There is a current ongoing investigation.
