Authorities charged a Hamilton County woman with murder Tuesday, after she attempted to hide her son’s body under a pile of clothing last year.
Dominic Allen,19, went missing late September 2020. Police discovered his body inside the his mother’s home in December. They arrested and charged Kenya Stallworth, 39, and her husband Robert Robb, 35, with gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. After DNA testing revealed the identity of Allen, prosecutors sought murder charges.
Now, Stallworth faces one count of murder and one count of felonious assault. Allen’s father, Marcus Allen, noted that his body showed signs of torture, according to Fox News. Marcus described his son as a wonderful, happy child.
“I am proud to be his father,” he said.
According to WCPO 9 News, Marcus discovered the disappearance of his son after Robb called him. He further stated that Stallworth waited 10 days to file a police report. She expected Marcus to file the report himself.
Stallworth and Robb attempted to conceal the smell of Allen’s body by sealing off a room inside the house. They allegedly placed the clothing on top of the body to further conceal the odor.
