Suspect Arrested in Missing University of Mississippi Case

A suspect has been arrested and charged in the disappearance of University of Mississippi student Jimmie “Jay” Lee last Friday. Lee’s (20) family and the investigative teams involved are still asking for public support and information if they have any to give.

The accused in custody is Sheldon Timothy Herrington Jr. (22). As of right now, little information is known to the public on who Herrington is or the pair’s relationship with one another, but according to CNN, more information will be released by the Oxford and University of Mississippi Police Departments in the coming days.

Lee was last seen on the morning of July 8th in what looked to be sleeping clothes according to Fox News. He was reportedly over near the Molly Barr Trails, the same location where his car would be found and towed three days later. Lee’s remains have not been found yet, but at this point in the investigation, it is believed that he is dead.
