Six Shot, Injured Outside Richmond, VA Cyber Cafe
Around 3:30AM today, six adults were non-fatally shot near a Richmond after-hours club known as the 4 Cyber Cafe, reports ABC 8News. Of the four male and two female victims, one man was transported to the hospital by ambulance while the other five drove themselves; two total remain hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
At 10AM, the Richmond Police Department held a public safety meeting to warn community members about rising rates of violence in the summer and remind them to “see something — say something,” states ABC 8News. Though no suspects are in custody as of 12:14PM, police have asserted there is no further threat to the public from this incident.
