Queens Woman Found Dead Inside Duffel Bag

The body of 51-year-old Orsolya Gaal was discovered inside of a bloody duffel bag on Saturday in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens. A trail of blood from where the duffel bag was left led police to Gaal’s home just a few blocks away.

Investigators told the New York Post that Gaal went out with her friends on Friday night. A few hours later, at approximately 4:30 a.m., an “unknown individual” is seen on surveillance video dragging a duffel bag from Gaal’s home.

Cops interviewed her 13-year-old son who was in the house when the crime occurred. However, the boy was released, and cops do not believe he had any involvement in the crime.

Investigators are hoping to find more surveillance footage to piece together what happened between Friday night and Saturday morning. The NYPD has not given any details as to how Gaal was murdered, and the investigation remains ongoing.
