Oregon Man Arrested for Attempted Rape and Child Pornography

Justin Devan Griffith, 29, was arrested on Monday and charged with 100 counts of computer child pornography, attempted rape, sexually grooming a child and internet stalking of a child.

According to People and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, authorities were made aware of conversations between Griffith and the minor. Police say Griffith had plans to take the minor across state lines. However, he was arrested by police in Conway, Arkansas upon meeting with the juvenile.

Griffith was booked into the Faulkner County Jail and there is an ongoing investigation taking place.

Police added that they would like to make citizens aware that these situations commonly occur and advises parents to educate their children on internet safety.
