Non-Fatal Shooting of Two at South Fulton, GA Taco Bell

17-year-old Marquis Jordan is still at large after shooting two teen boys in the parking lot of the South Fulton Taco Bell where he worked. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution states that Jordan’s Wednesday morning attack was preceded by an argument with the 16-year-old customers in the restaurant. Both victims, their identities currently unreleased by news outlets, were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital; WGCL Atlanta reports that although one was shot in the neck and the other in the leg, both are stable as of May 19th.

Jalen Jackson, another customer in the parking lot, witnessed the events of the shooting from his car as he and his fiancée took cover. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jordan used an assault rifle and fired “as many as 40 shots,” some of which rattled the hood of Jackon’s car.

WSB-TV News additionally provides Jackson’s statement that Jordan originally argued with him and his fiancée in the Taco Bell, and retrieved the rifle in order to threaten them. The two teenage victims pulled up and were targeted after this initial confrontation, and were the only two wounded.

WSB-TV News urges anyone with information on Jordan’s whereabouts to call 911. He is considered armed and dangerous.
