Deceased Newborn Found Alongside Road in Memphis

Police in Memphis, Tennessee are searching for answers after a newborn was found deceased alongside the road on Sunday, March 6.

According to officers, they found the deceased newborn in the 4000 block of Raleigh-LaGrange Road. The newborn appeared to be full term and was wrapped in a blanket before being placed in a bag according to the Associated Press.

Officers have yet to release any further information, but are actively investigating this tragic discovery. The Memphis Police Department are treating this investigation as a homicide according to a Facebook post.

No arrests have been made, but police are urging the public to please come forward with any information they might have.
