Missing Massachusetts Woman Found Dead, Suspect and Ex-boyfriend Killed by Police
23-year-old missing Massachusetts woman, Mary Anderson, was found dead this past Tuesday in her pickup truck in Brattleboro, Vermont. She was last seen at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Hudson, New Hampshire.
Anderson’s ex-boyfriend, Matthew Davis, was quickly considered a person of interest. Members of the Vermont State Police and Brattleboro Police Department spotted Davis in West Brattleboro Tuesday evening. Attempting to talk with him, law enforcement realized Davis was armed with a knife and shot him. Davis has since been pronounced dead due to his injuries.
The Vermont Medical Examiner’s Office haven’t determined the cause of Anderson’s death.
According to Anderson’s mom, Shelia Anderson, Davis has a history of anger issues. Davis has reportedly been convicted of violently stabbing a man back in 2009. The man was the boyfriend of the mother of his two children.
