Georgia Man Suspected of Killing His Pregnant Girlfriend and Two of Her Family Members

Jamie Leon Harris, 37, of Buena Vista, Georgia was arrested Monday after being suspected of killing his girlfriend, Lara Bullard, 23, as well as her grandmother, 65, and great uncle, 69, in his rural home just after midnight. 

A 911 call was made around this time reporting a shooting in Schley County. Deputies were dispatched to the scene and arrested Harris after finding the bodies of the three victims. 

Harris remained in a Sumter County jail until Tuesday before being taken to a magistrate judge. The judge will not be able to set bail on a murder charge since it is still unknown if Harris has a lawyer or not.

As of right now, Harris been charged with three counts of felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of feticide. Bullard had reportedly posted invitations to her baby shower on her social media shortly before the incident.
