Man Fatally Stabbed at Dave & Busters

A man was fatally stabbed in the chest after an altercation took place on Saturday night at the Dave & Busters in New York City’s Times Square.

Alan Stamford, 39, was rushed to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital where he was pronounced dead, CNN reports.

Police sources tell the New York Post that the perpetrator, Jesse Armstrong, 41, was seen on surveillance video “pulling out an object” and stabbing Stamford in the chest after punching him in the face. The alleged dispute was about an arcade prize.

Armstrong fled the Dave & Busters after the stabbing, but a security guard chased him into a nearby train station where he was apprehended by police. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for medical treatment and charged with murder.
