Former NFL Player Kevin Ware Charged with Murder of Ex-Girlfriend
Former NFL tight end Kevin Ware was indicted on charges of murder and tampering with the body of his ex-girlfriend in 2021 last Thursday. If he were to be convicted of these charges, Ware could possibly be sentenced to life in prison.
According to CNN, 29-year-old Taylor Pomaski was reported missing on May 11, 2021, after not being seen by her family for nearly a month after a party at her home. They believed that her lack of contact with them showed she was “possibly endangered” and had her reported as a missing person. Since her remains were found in December 2021, Harris County Police have been investigating the incident and her connections with Ware.
Ware (41) has a two-season career with the NFL where he played for Washington and San Francisco in 2003 and 2004. According to CBS, he is already being held in Montgomery County Jail on unrelated drug and gun charges.
