Florida Man Charged With Murder of Wife He Claimed Went Missing

Ian Lenning was charged with first-degree murder of his wife, Irene Lanning Xeniti, on Saturday after detectives found evidence that suggested Lenning killed her in their home and dumped her body in an unknown location.

On May 30th Xeniti’s daughter reported the 53-year-old missing. This occurred two weeks after Lenning claimed Xeniti left their home in Pompano Beach, Florida on May 14th to BSO detectives. According to Lenning, Xeniti walked out during an argument and hadn’t seen her since.

A neighbor reported speaking with Lenning after Xeniti disappeared, reading no emotion on his face while discussing his wife's absence.

It wasn’t until investigators were granted a search warrant for Lenning’s house on June 8th that they were able to find concrete evidence to convict the husband of murdering Xeniti.

As of right now Xeniti’s body is still missing.

A GoFundMe was made by one of Xeniti’s friends to help the woman’s daughter pay for the funeral.
