FBI Investigates Suspicious Death of A Female Passenger on A Carnival Cruise Ship

FBI Investigates Suspicious Death of A Female Passenger on A Carnival Cruise Ship

On Feb. 27, during a voyage to Nassau, a woman aboard a carnival cruise ship, Carnival’s Sunshine, was found unresponsive. Medical staff and crew members attempted to revive the woman after finding her, but sadly, she was pronounced dead.

USA Today reports that FBI officials claim that the passenger’s death was an isolated incident and no other passengers were put at risk.

The FBI claims, according to People, that it investigates “certain crimes on the high seas, as well as suspicious deaths of U.S. persons.”

It is also claimed that both the deceased passenger and her husband left the ship in Nassau, where Bahamian authorities have investigated the circumstances and are conducting an autopsy.

At the moment, the death of the female passenger still remains under investigation.
