Kindergarten Teacher Who Didn't Show Up to Work Is Found Buried in Shallow Grave Next Day

Luz Hernandez’s body was found on Wednesday, Feb. 7 after the kindergarten teacher from New Jersey didn’t show up for work the day before, People reported.

Hernandez’s death is considered suspicious and the cause and manner of her death are still pending. Her body was dumped in a deserted, shallow grave just 3.5 miles from her home, and according to CBS New York, investigators aren’t sure whether surveillance cameras in the area captured whoever dumped her body, and arrests have yet to be made. 

Hernandez, 33, was a mother of three, with her youngest child being only two years old. Her children are all now in the custody of Hernandez’s mother.
