Father Charged With Murdering His Newborn and Her Mother

On Wednesday, the Memphis Police Department issued an Amber Alert for 2-day-old Kennedy Hoyle after her mother, 27-year-old Danielle Hoyle was found murdered near her car. What was initially supposed to be an investigation to bring baby Kennedy home has now turned into a recovery mission for her remains.

Danielle’s body was found on Tuesday night at 11:15 pm in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis. When Kennedy wasn’t in her car seat, police began an intensive search for her. Kennedy’s car seat was eventually found abandoned in a Whitehaven Walmart parking lot.

The Tennessee Bureau of Information released an Amber Alert on Wednesday morning for Kennedy. They described her as six pounds, seventeen inches long, and last wearing a black and white polka dot onesie and pink pants.

Family members were pleading for the safe return of baby Kennedy. April Campbell, Danielle’s mother, pleaded with whomever took Kennedy saying: “I only held my baby for 10 minutes and I haven’t seen her since. Why would someone want to hurt a baby, she’s precious. She didn’t do anything to you.”

Before noon on Wednesday, the Memphis Police Department released an initial statement saying they arrested a man, and he was known to the victims.

Twenty five-year-old Brandon Isabelle has been arrested for the murder of Danielle. According to police, the evidence points towards the fact that Kennedy is likely deceased.

According to an affidavit, Isabella lured Danielle to the area of Sedgwick and Levi so he could shoot her. Then, he drove with Kennedy to Island Park and the Upper Mud Island Boat Ramp, tossing her into the water. He says he threw the murder weapon into the Mississippi River and Wolf River Delta, according to WREG Memphis.

Isabelle is charged with two counts of first degree murder, murder in the perpetration of aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated kidnapping, and tampering/fabricating of evidence.

If you have seen Kennedy, call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND (3463) or the Memphis police at 901-545-2677.
