Montana Mom Accused of Killing her 2 Young Kids

A Montana mom is being accused of killing her two young kids.According to the Missoulian, Leannah J. Gardipe, 34, has been charged with two counts of deliberate homicide. She appeared to the Missoula Country Justice Court on Monday afternoon.Police were called to a reported homicide last Friday. The 911 caller, Gardipe's mother reported her daughter saying she had "saved her babies." When Gardipe's mother asked her if she had killed her children, Gardipe started to cry. She then called 911 herself "to report a murder."Montana Right Now reports that Gardipe's children were found dead in a bedroom closet tucked into sheets. They had knife wounds on their necks and defensive wounds on their hands.The children's father, Travis Sandberg had previously voiced concerns about Gardipe's mental health. The children had been taken from Gardipe within the last year.The Montana mom was arrested and her bail has been set at 10 million.
