Mom Charged for Poisoning Her Son

A mom was charged for poisoning her son.According to Erie News Now, Mary Diehl, 62, was arrested for the the death of her son. Police believe Diehl poisoned 11-year-old Najir Diehl.The investigation started when police were notified that Diehl had found Najir dead in his bed. Blood tests were performed which found poison in Najir's blood.The Meadville Tribune reports that Najir was handicapped and couldn't walk on his own. Police believe that Diehl acted with malice and premeditation against her care-dependent son.Diehl has been charged with criminal homicide. Diehl is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on November 23.
