The Halloween Murders of the Liske Family

Halloween 2010 was meant to be like any other day for 16-year-old Devon Griffin. Noticing how quiet his home was, he attempted to search for his mother and stepfather, Susan and William Liske. As he entered their bedroom, he found a blanket pulled over their heads. Believing it was a Halloween prank, he removed the blanket from their heads. His gruesome discovery would lead to his stepbrother, BJ’s, arrest for the brutal murders of Susan and William Liske, and Susan’s son Derek Griffin.

Georgia Leah Moses disappeared from Santa Rosa California on August 13th 1997. Nine days later, the 12-year-old girl's dead body was found alongside Highway 101 near the Petaluma Boulevard onramp. Georgia's short life was marked by failures of the system, which sadly continued to fail her in death. The investigation was distracted by a series of errors -- from the handling of her missing person report to the identification of her body. Even Georgia's name was printed incorrectly by the media, creating further barriers to justice.

Marvin Gaye was a soul and R&B singer-songwriter and producer. In the 1960’s, he helped reshape the sound of Motown Records, leading him to be known as the "Prince of Motown" and the “Prince of Soul.” On April 1, 1984, Marvin Gaye was shot and killed by his father, Marvin Gaye Sr.

Slender Man

On a Saturday morning, May 31, 2014, two 12-year-old Wisconsin girls stabbed their friend (also 12) 19 times. Leutner survived the attack, but the other girls were sentenced to a mental institution.
