Upcoming Miami Rapper Killed Just After Jail Release

Timothy Starks, commonly known as rapper Baby Cino, 20, was fatally shot just minutes after posting bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center last Wednesday afternoon (Mar. 16).

Dante Collins Banks, a friend of Starks, picked him up from the city jail around 2 p.m. As the two turned onto the expressway, a driver in another vehicle opened fire, firing over 40 rounds into the vehicle, according to The Guardian.

Starks received multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. Banks was shot in the abdomen, but survived.

The shooter is currently unknown, but detectives are currently searching for the suspect.
