Truck Driver Arrested After Attempting to Abduct Bikini-Barista

According to DailyMail.com, a man in Washington was arrested for attempting to abduct a barista at Beankini Espresso Auburn. The incident occurred on Jan.16, 2023, and the suspect was arrested just a day later. 

The footage posted to Facebook by the Auburn Police Department, shows the barista handing the suspect what appears to be cash around 5 am on Monday. The man then grabbed her arm and tried to drag her out of the window holding a “looped zip tie device”, according to People. The woman yanked her arm back and immediately shut the window. The assailant sped off. 

The suspect has not been publicly identified and was arrested on, Jan. 17, 2023, in his home in Auburn. Investigators were able to identify the suspect by his unique Chevrolet tattoo and footage from the coffee shop. According to DailyMail.com, the driver of the Chevy Silverado will remain in police custody and has not been officially charged with anything.
