Father Arrested After Neighbors Film Four Year Old Son Playing With A Gun
According to Inside Edition, an Indiana man is arrested after neighbors call police claiming that his four year old son was playing with a loaded gun.
Ryan Mears, a Marion County Prosecutor, claims that the boy has a special name for the gun– “pew pew,” according to Inside Edition.
abc news claims that Shane Osborne, the father of the four year old boy, was charged with neglect of a dependent. They also claim that police determined that the child was holding a loaded Smith & Wesson hand gun that was loaded with 15 rounds.
abc news also claims that several neighbors had reported the young boy playing with the handgun, but after conducting a search, found no weapons inside the home until neighbors showed police the security camera footage of the boy holding the gun, unsupervised.
