Georgia Leah Moses disappeared from Santa Rosa California on August 13th 1997. Nine days later, the 12-year-old girl's dead body was found alongside Highway 101 near the Petaluma Boulevard onramp. Georgia's short life was marked by failures of the system, which sadly continued to fail her in death. The investigation was distracted by a series of errors -- from the handling of her missing person report to the identification of her body. Even Georgia's name was printed incorrectly by the media, creating further barriers to justice.
Johnl Jackson of Vancouver, Washington has been sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for trafficking two girls, ages 14 and 15, from Eugene, Oregon to his hometown where he forced them to have sex with his clients in exchange for drugs and money.

Kaylee Jones, a 16-year-old teenager, has been missing since June 14, 2022. She was last seen near Carrollton’s Whooping Creek Church Road. Texas authorities have rescued 70 missing children in a 3-week joint task force operation in West Texas. Operation Lost Souls began in April in the El Paso, Midland, Ector, and Tom Green counties. All 70 kids were 10-17 years old and were victims of sex trafficking, and physical and sexual abuse.
