The book has been compared to creepy hit novels like Misery and Room, and tells the story of a woman being held captive on a remote farm in the UK. Thanh Dao, or Jane as she is renamed by her captor, was trafficked from her home in Vietnam, abused, and stripped of her identity. But now Jane has discovered she is pregnant, and has resolved to protect her child at all costs.
