Two Suspects Arrested in Connection with Sacramento Mass Shooting

Dandrae Martin, 26, and his brother Smiley Martin, 27, were arrested in connection with Sunday’s mass shooting in Sacramento that left 6 people dead and at least 12 others wounded. Once Smiley Martin has completed his medical care, authorities say he will be booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a machine gun.

Former University of Georgia Football Player Arrested for Murdering Gas Station Clerk Last Year

Ahkil Nasir Crumpton, who played wide receiver for the University of Georgia Bulldogs in 2017 and 2018, was arrested in connection with the murder of a gas station clerk last year. The victim, 23-year-old Elijah Wood, was shot to death at the RaceTrac gas station near Watkinsville, GA. Surveillance video showed the suspect entering the store clad in all black and holding a handgun.

DOCS Dick Wolf exec producing A&E’s “BTK: Confessions of a Killer”

A&E Network has announced details on a two-night true crime documentary event exploring the crimes of serial killer Dennis Rader in BTK: Confession of a Serial Killer.

The two-part documentary will air on A&E on January 8 and 9, and comes from Dick Wolf’s Wolf Entertainment and Good Caper Content. The documentary promises unprecedented access to Rader, who is serving 10 consecutive life sentences in prison.
