Missing California Woman Jolissa Fuentes Going on Almost Two Weeks

A young woman from California has been missing since August 7th after going to a gas station in the early morning. The woman, Jolissa Fuentes, is believed by her family to have been abducted, not believing that she would stay away this long without contact of her own accord.

Around 4 am on August 7th, Fuentes was last seen buying a snack at an AM/PM gas station in Selma, California. The last contact she had with anyone was a call to her sister at 5:30 am, which she did not pick up.

The 22-year-old had spent the past night at a friend’s party, before stopping at her grandmother’s house to pick up a bag and some money according to Fox News. According to her family, she is very social and dedicated to her family and job, and so her avoiding both responsibilities is deemed unlike her.

Her family wonders if she could have been in Selma to see local orchards and farms, a pastime she had picked up after a friend died last year. According to Social Telecast, police are not yet looking into this case as an abduction, believing she is out on her own free will. The police are offering a $5,000 reward for any information as to her whereabouts, and anyone with information should call Detective Richard Figueroa at 559-891-2243.
