Massachusetts Mom Strangles and Murders Her Young Children

Lindsay Clancy has been charged with two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation or suffocation and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to Fox News.

The children were found unconscious with signs of trauma in their home after Patrick Clancy, the father and husband, called 911 on the evening of January 24 to report his wife’s attempted suicide. The children–one girl and two boys–were five, three and eight months old.

Sadly, the two eldest children were pronounced dead at the hospital and the infant was flown to a Boston hospital for treatment, but he sadly ended up dying as well.

NBC News is reporting that Patrick Clancy is asking for people to forgive his wife. 

In a recent statement, Patrick Clancy said that "I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have, the real Lindsay was generously loving and caring towards everyone — me, our kids, family, friends, and her patients. The very fibers of her soul are loving. All I wish for her now is that she can somehow find peace.”

He also went on to say that their marriage was wonderful and that it grew stronger as her condition worsened, as well as claiming that he felt pride in being her husband and a father and was lucky to have her in his life.
