Mass Stabbing Outside New Orleans Bar Leaves Five Injured

The morning of Mardi Gras, a mass stabbing occurred at a New Orleans college bar, The Boot, after a man was denied entry.

According to WWL-TV, the man became extremely violent and began stabbing multiple people outside the bar. EMS units and police responded to the scene, where one victim was identified as a Loyola University student who worked at the bar. The student was treated at a nearby hospital.

There is not currently any information on the other four individuals who were injured.

Currently, no arrests have been made, but the New Orleans Police Department encourages anyone with information to contact (504) 658-6020.
