Man Sentenced to 70 Years in Prison for Torture Death of His Son

In October 2021, police discovered the body of four-year-old Judah Morgan. Authorities have since discovered a video of Morgan’s father, Alan Morgan, repeatedly punching his son before his death. Alan Morgan has been sentenced to seventy years in prison.

An Indiana judge sentenced Morgan for the abuse of his four-year-old son after video footage showed Judah Morgan being repeatedly punched. The footage was uncovered in the family home, also depicting other forms of physical abuse instigated by Alan Morgan, according to Fox News. Morgan would plead guilty in court. Judah’s foster family, distant blood relatives of both Judah and Alan Morgan, were also present at the court. Morgan will likely serve about seventy-five percent of his sentence before being eligible for parole, according to WTHR.

Judah’s biological mother, Mary Yoder, also faces charges. She will appear in court in January.
